Would You Like Some “Pi”?

March 21, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Ms. Weinhold’s and Mr. Bertand’s math classes were challenged to recite as many digits in “pi” as they could remember.  The student that recited the most numbers would get the chance to throw a pie in their respected teachers face.  Lauren Wagaman (Bertrand) and Justin Culpepper (Weinhold) were the winners with 191 and 78 digits respectively. Lauren Wagaman crushed the old record of 161 digits in “pi”.

Congratulations Lauren and Justin!  Your Awesome!  Oh, thanks for the pie, I’m still smelling vanilla flavored whip cream.
